Yesterday morning, Staci Astor posted on her Facebook page “Got a case of the Monday's” Within three hours, the very attractive St Louis native, received 84 likes and 16 comments. This came as no surprise to Staci. “Yoga was fun today” received 68 likes last week while “Where is my coffee?” got a whopping 96 last month.
“I just put what I’m feeling or thinking and people just seem to really enjoy it,” Staci said in a phone interview with me. “If I tried a new food or washed my car or even if I’m just sitting around lounging in my favorite jammies, I put it on Facebook and everyone loves it.”
After exploring her page, I found that most of her likes came from male friends including posts like "My feet are so cold" and "Different nail polish today" which tallied 114 likes combined. I asked her if she ever thought that much of this attention had to do with the fact that she was really pretty and that most of her male friends probably just wanted to fuck her.
“Awww you think I’m pretty? You are just the sweetest," was her response. I could literally hear the hair twirling around her finger. I tried to push the issue but she kept being coy and told me to stop making her blush. After our phone interview, I checked her Facebook page. It read: “I made a new friend :)” I liked it. Just in case.
